MARIA STEIN — Lynn and Dean Homan, of Maria Stein, have announced the birth of a daughter, Emily Jane Homan, born July 8, 2016, at 9:08 p.m., in the Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.

She weighed 8 pounds, 3 ounces, and was 20 inches long.

She was welcomed home by her sisters, Tara, 15, Kelli, 13, Amanda, 11, Megan, 8, Julia 6, and Johanna, 4, and her brother, Eddie, 1.

Her maternal grandparents are Jane and Lester Schmitmeyer, of Fort Loramie. Her paternal grandparents are Elsie and Elmer Homan, of Chickasaw.

Her mother is the former Lynn Schmitmeyer.
