YORKSHIRE — Brenda and Gregg Hemmelgarn, of Yorkshire, have announced the birth of a son, John Paul Hemmelgarn, born Jan. 15, 2017, at 3:16 a.m., in the Copeland-Emerson Family Birth Center at Wilson Health in Sidney.

He weighed 8 pounds, 6 ounces, and was 21 inches long.

He was welcomed home by his brothers, Brandon, 12, Dominic, 10, and Joey, 2, and his sisters, Anna, 8, and Gianna, 5.

His maternal grandparents are Mary and Mike Bruns, of Celina. His paternal grandparents are Joyce and Jim Hemmelgarn, of St. Henry.

His great-grandparents are Florence and Robert Bruns, of Cranberry, and Mildred and Luke Schmitmeyer, of Coldwater.

His mother is the former Brenda Bruns.
