SIDNEY — Brittany and Anthony Martin, of Sidney, have announced the birth of a son, Augustus Ray Martin, born Jan. 3, 2017, at 3:28 a.m., in the Copeland-Emerson Family Birth Center at Wilson Health.

He weighed 8 pounds, 3 ounces, and was 19 1/2 inches long.

He was welcomed home by his brother, Alexander, 5.

His maternal grandparents are Ellen and Michael “Dave” Windham, of Sidney. His paternal grandparents are Elissa and Russ Martin, of Anna.

His great-grandparents are Margaret Sharp and Joyce Gates, both of Sidney, Connie and Harry Sharp, of Jackson Center, and Warren Windham, of Chattanooga, Tennessee.

His mother is the former Brittany Windham, of Anna.
