FORT LORAMIE — Jody and Chad Schulze, of Fort Loramie, have announced the birth of a son, Cole Thomas Schulze, born Dec. 12, 2016, at 2:24 p.m. in the Mercer County Community Hospital in Coldwater.

He weighed 8 pounds, 3 ounces, and was 19 1/2 inches long.

He was welcomed home by his brother, Connor, 2.

His maternal grandparents are Kathy and Dan Westerheide, of Minster. His paternal grandparents are Vicky and Ron Schulze, of Fort Loramie.

His great-grandparents are Loretta Bergman, of Minster, and Margaret Hilgefort, of Newport.

His mother is the former Jody Westerheide, of Minster.
