RUSSIA — Hollie and Jeff Prenger, of Russia, have announced the birth of a son, John Donald Prenger, born Dec. 28, 2016, at 5:53 p.m., in the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.

He weighed 9 pounds, 10 ounces, and was 21 inches long.

He was welcomed home by his brothers, Sam, 7, and Luke, 2, and his sisters, Juliet, 6, and Nora, 4.

His maternal grandparents are Treva and Don Borchers, of Russia. His paternal grandmother is Janice Prenger, of Russia.

His great-grandparents are Norma Puthoff, of Fort Loramie, and Alma Prenger, of Coldwater.

His mother is the former Hollie Borchers.
