NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. — Alisha and Jesse Lindsey, of North Charleston, South Carolina, have announced the birth of a son, Benton Ross, born May 24, 2017, at 11:34 p.m., in the Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital in Charleston, South Carolina.

He weighed 8 pounds and was 20 inches long.

His maternal grandparents are Jennifer Kemp, of Botkins, and Ric Meyers, of Versailles. His paternal grandparents are Lynn and Bruce Lindsey, of Sidney.

His great-grandparents are Robert Sargeant, O.B. Lindsey and Nancy Berning, all of Sidney, and Ruth and Jim Meyers, of Piqua.

His mother is the former Alisha Meyers, of Botkins.
