URBANA — Michelle and Philip Rohrer, of Urbana, have announced the birth of twin daughters, born July 2, 2017, in the Ohio State University Hospital.

Cecilia Elizabeth Rohrer was born at 7 a.m. She weighed 2 pounds, 8 ounces, and was 14.11 inches long.

Piper Annabelle Rohrer was born at 7:05 a.m. She weighed 2 pounds, 11 ounces, and was 15.3 inches long.

They were welcomed home by their sister, Samantha Rohrer, 9.

Their maternal grandparents are Joan and Richard Steinke, of Sidney. Their paternal grandparents are Elizabeth and James Rohrer, of Urbana.

Their great-grandparents are Fredonia Staley, of Sidney, and Albert Leeper, of Urbana.

Their mother is the former Michelle Steinke, of Anna.
