SIDNEY — Kyli Cornett and Derek Chumney, of Sidney, have announced the birth of a daughter, Kelsi Jade Chumney, born Aug. 28, 2017, at 1:47 p.m., in the Copeland-Emerson Family Birth Center at Wilson Health.

She weighed 7 pounds, 7 1/2 ounces, and was 19 inches long.

She was welcomed home by her sister, Karli Jo Cornett, 2.

Her maternal grandparents are Rhonda and Joe Harris, of Sidney. Her paternal grandparents are Cristal and Doug Chumney, of Tipp City.

Her great-grandparents are Joyce Feitshaus, of Arcanum, Dorla and Ray Chumney, of Somerset, Kentucky, Vicki and Doug Stephens, of Sidney, and Georgetta and Kenneth Cornett, of Huber Heights.

Her mother is originally from Sidney.
