VERSAILLES — Karen and Jon Richard, of Versailles, have announced the birth of a daughter, Cecilia Jane Richard, born Oct. 5, 2015, at 10:18 p.m., in the Copeland-Emerson Family Birth Center at Wilson Health in Sidney.

She weighed 8 pounds, 8 ounces, and was 21 inches long.

Her maternal grandparents are Jane and Gary Smith, of Versailles. Her paternal grandparents are Peggi and Mark Richard, of Versailles.

Her great-grandparents are Louis Schlater, of North Star, Janet and Floyd Pitsenbarger, of Versailles, and Dorothy and Gene Richard, of Versailles.

Her mother is the former Karen Smith, of Versailles.
