MINSTER — Valerie Forbes, of Cincinnati, and Mike Kaiser, of Columbus, have announced their engagement and plans to marry Dec. 19, 2015, in the Fort Thomas Catholic Church in Fort Thomas, Kentucky.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Marian Lee and Jay Forbes, of Fort Thomas, Kentucky. She graduated from Highland High School in Fort Thomas in 1999 and from the University of Dayton in 2004 with a degree in chemical engineering. She is employed by Shepherd Color Co. in Cincinnati.

Her fiance is the son of Jean and Ed Kaiser, of Minster. He is a 1998 Minster High School graduate, a 2002 graduate of the University of Dayton, where he earned a degree in entrepreneurship and management of information systems, and a 2007 graduate of Capital University, where he earned a Master of Business Administration. He is employed by Centric Consulting in Columbus.
