BOWLING GREEN — Franziska Wohlert and Derek Gaier, both of Bowling Green, have announced their engagement and plans to marry in May.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Heike and Holger Wohlert, of Berlin, Germany. She graduated from Schul-und Leistungssportzentrum in Berlin and is enrolled in Bowling Green State University, where she will earn a Bachelor of Science in business management in 2019.
Her fiance is the son of Debra and Daniel Gaier, of Piqua. He is a graduate of Lehman Catholic High School and will graduate from Bowling Green State University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in business management. He will then commission as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army Reserves.
