Couple set May date

NEW ALBANY, Ind. — Laura Van Fossen and James Spalding, both of New Albany, Indiana, have announced their engagement and plans to marry, May 22, 2016, in the St. John’s Lutheran Church in Sidney.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Holly and Albert Page, of Sidney, and Eric Van Fossen, of Englewood. She graduated from Lehman High School in 2002 and from Bowling Green State Univeristy in 2008 with degrees in history, German and vocal performance. She is employed by the state of Indiana as a program developer at the Corydon Capitol State Historic Site.

Her finace is the son of Fran and Joseph Spalding, of New Albany, Indiana. He is a 1996 Crawford County High School graduate, who served in the U.S. Navy from 1996 to 2000. He is employed by New Age Technology in Louisville, Kentucky, as a network engineer.
