SIDNEY — Amber Nicole Drees, of Sidney, and Jared Joseph Speer, of Covington, have announced their engagement and plans to marry May 21, 2016, in Tawawa Park in Sidney.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Julie and Dave Drees, of Sidney. She graduated from Sidney High School in 2001 and from Edison Community College in 2008 with an associate degree in human resources. She is employed by Ross Aluminum.

Her fiance is the son of Marty and Joe Speer, of Covington. He is a 2005 graduate of Covington High School. He is employed by Peak Foods.
