MCCARTYVILLE — Sarah Rethman, of McCartyville, and Eric Heitkamp, of Maria Stein, have announced their engagement and plans to marry Sept. 10, 2016, in the St. Rose Catholic Church in St. Rose.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Rita and Ken Rethman, of Anna. She graduated from Anna High School in 2010 and from the Ohio State University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing. She is employed by US Bank in Minster as a universal banker.

Her finace is the son of Joyce and Lester Heitkamp, of St. Rose. He is a 2009 Marion High School graduate and a 2012 graduate of the University of Northwestern Ohio, where he earned an Associate of Applied Science in HVAC/R technology. He is employed by Buschur’s Refrigeration as a geothermal/HVAC technician.
