SIDNEY — Megan Renee Marsh, of Sidney, and James Riley Snyder VII, of Houston, have announced their engagement and plans to marry Oct. 4, 2015, at 2:30 p.m. in the Meyer Lodge in Conover.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Kathy and Johnny Marsh, of Sidney. She graduated from Sidney High School in 2008, attended Kent State University and is currently enrolled in Edison Community College, studying fine arts. She is employed by The Cakery in Troy as a cake decorator.

Her fiance is the son of Kelly Rhodes, of Jackson Center, and James Riley Snyder VI, of Houston. He is a 2005 graduate of Houston High School and a 2007 graduate of the International College of Broadcasting, where he earned an associate’s degree in studio engineering. He is employed by Ferguson Construction Co. as a construction worker.
