HOUSTON — Danielle Nicole Monnier, of Houston, and Ryan Joeph Poeppelman, of Yorkshire, have announced their engagement and plans to marry, July 29, 2017, in the St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, in Newport.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Doris and Paul Monnier, of Houston. She graduated in 2010 from Houston High School and in 2014 from Wilmington College, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in middle school education. She is employed by Fairlawn Local Schools as a math and science teacher.

Her fiance is the son of Dorothy and Joseph Poeppelman, of Yorkshire. He is a 2009 graduate of Fort Loramie High School and the Upper Valley Career Center. He received his electrical journeyman licence in 2012 and is employed by Wayne Trail: A Lincoln Electric Co. as an electrician.
