SIDNEY — Haley Renee Vondenhuevel and Michael William Donald Hageman, both of Sidney, have announced their engagement and plans to marry Sept. 12, 2015, in the New Hope Methodist Church in Sidney.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Christina and Luke Vondenhuevel, of Sidney. She graduated from Fairlawn High School in 2014 and has been certified as an activities director by the National Council of Activity Professionals. She is employed by Fair Haven Shelby County Home as an activity assistant.

Her fiance is the son of Dawn and William Hageman, of Sidney. He is a 2012 graduate of Fairlawn High School. He is self-employed as a farmer and truck driver.
