Ziegler, Eadler share vows

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. — Liza Jean Ziegler, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, and Skyler Keith Eadler, of Centerville, were united in marriage, June 18, 2016, in the Holy Angels Catholic Church in Sidney.

The bride is the daughter of Ann and Randy Ziegler, of Sidney. Her grandparents are Betty and Jack Nartker, of Elida, and the late Phyllis and Al Pundt, and the late Robert Ziegler.

The bridegroom is the son of Kim and Tim Eadler, of Centerville, Indiana. His grandparents are Dee Smith, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, and the late Chuck Smith, and the late Barbara and Keith Eadler.

The Rev. John Tonkin performed the ceremony. Emily Pax was the organist and Tricia and Bill Zimmerman were vocalists.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an embellished, organza, A-line gown by Bridal by Mori Lee with a strapless bodice featuring a sweetheart neckline with a low-cut back and intricately beaded embroidery adorning the entire dress, and a birdcage veil accented with a sparkling daisy clip. She carried a bouquet of white gerbera, chrysanthemum and field daisies accented with baby’s breath and seeded eucalyptus foliage.

Jocelyn Ziegler served as her sister’s maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Tori Eadler, sister of the bridegroom, and Amy Caserta, Andrea Shook and Julie Courtney.

The attendants wore short, navy blue dresses with one shoulder and an illlusion neck. They carried bouquets of coral-colored gerbera daisies accented with baby’s breath.

Nan Okorowski was the flower attendant. Program attendants were Olivia and Addison Shannon, cousins of the bride, and Sara and Kate Boyer.

Brandon Miller was best man. Groomsmen were Trevor Eadler, brother of the bridegroom, Tyler Markley, Thomas Crist and Gabe Chaney. Joe Grassia, Phil Goedde and Andrew Staroska were ushers.

The mother of the bride wore a plum-colored, capped-sleeve, long, jersey dress with lace detail and an open back. The mother of the bridegroom wore gunmetal gray, capped-sleeve, long gown featuring a glittery lace bodice and a sheer matte jersey skirt.

A reception at the Oaks Club at Shelby Oaks Golf Club followed the ceremony.

The couple honeymooned in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, and reside in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.

The bride graduated from Lehman Catholic High School in Sidney and from Ball State University, in Muncie, Indiana, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She was employed by Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana, as a surgical nurse and plans to work as a surgical nurse at Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina.

The bridegroom is a Centerville High School graduate and earned a Bachelor of Science in physical education and health education from Ball State University. He was employed by Centerville High School in Centerville, Indiana, as a health and physical education teacher and junior varsity baseball coach.

The couple met at Ball State University, where Liza was a member of the color guard and Skylar was a percussionist in the marching band.
