JACKSON CENTER — Cortnee Nicole Sosby, of Jackson Center, and Rusty Jay Sidle, of Sidney, were united in marriage, Sept. 10, 2016, at 2:30 p.m., in the First United Methodist Church in Sidney.
The bride is the daughter of Michelle Sosby, of Jackson Center. Her grandparents are Judy and Chet Sosby, of Jackson Center. The bridegroom is the son of Linda and Roger Sidle, of Sidney.
The Rev. David Chivington performed the ceremony. Cari Beth Noah was the musician. Frank Fahrer was the vocalist.
Given in marriage by her grandfather, the bride wore a gown from Wendy’s Bridal in Columbus. She carried a bouquet from Jenny’s Designs in Botkins.
Lindsey Frye, cousin of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Jayel Frye, cousin of the bride, Cori Steiner and Gina Maier, sisters of the bridegroom, Carly Shipp, Kara DeVelvis and Maegan Schnarre. Addison Frye, goddaughter of the bride, and Olivia Maier, niece of the bridegroom, were the flower girls. The attendants wore dresses from David’s Bridal and carried flowers from Jenny’s Designs.
David Hughes was the best man. Groomsmen were Chayce Hickman, brother of the bride, Doug Ernst, Henry Ernst, Derrek Burks, Keith Brown and Michael Nartker. Kaeden Frye, cousin of the bride, was the ring bearer.
A reception at the Palazzo in Botkins followed the ceremony. The bridal party arrived in a Hummer limousine provided by Lucky Limo Inc. The disc jockey was Wicked Sound. Diane Ware made the cake and cupcakes. Ashley Elizabeth Photography took the photos.
The couple honeymooned at Secrets Puerto Los Cabos Golf & Spa Resort in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico, and reside in Columbus.
The bride graduated from Jackson Center High School in 2009 and from National College in 2013. She is employed by nationwide Children’s Hospital as a medical billing and coding specialist. The bridegroom is a 2002 graduate of Houston High School and a 2007 graduate of the Ohio State University. He is employed by Coyote Logistics as a logistics broker.
