Motter, Calcei wed in Brunswick

HUDSON — Kelly Motter and Dr. Beau Calcei, both of Hudson, were united in marriage, July 22, 2017, at Mapleside Farms in Brunswick.

The bride is the daughter of Carol and Kirk Motter, of Fort Loramie. The bridegroom is the son of Candy and John Calcei, of Mantua.

Nicholas Calcei performed the ceremony.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a Monique Lhuillier bliss gown featuring a sheer lace bodice with straps, a stunning V-back and a satin fit-and-flare skirt with buttons cascading down the chapel-length train and a Justin and Taylor halo headpiece embellished with Czech stones and gilt leaves on brass wire, tied with a poly ribbon. She carried a bouquet of garden roses, dahlia, ranunculus and chamomile in colors of white, yellow, dusty rose and coral, accented with silver dollar eucalyptus, Italian ruscus and plumosa ferns. The stem was wrapped with a necklace from her grandmother.

Jennifer King and Heather Woehrmyer served as their sister’s matrons of honor. Bridesmaids were Shanna Keown-Calcei, Annie Robinson, Holly Wetzel, Alyssa Zumberger and Dani Bronkema. Caroline King, niece of the bride, was the flower girl.

The best men were Jake Calcei, Blake Calcei and Luke Calcei, brothers of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Chris King, Greg Woehrmyer, Brandon Ventling, Mark Sullivan, Ryan Poh, Ian Hall and Jon Wells. Henry King and Maxwell Woehrmyer, nephews of the bride, and George King, godchild of the bride and bridegroom, were the ring bearers.

A reception at Mapleside Farms followed the ceremony.

The couple honeymooned in California and reside in Hudson.

The bride graduated from Fort Loramie High School in 2009 and from the Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in business administration in 2013. She received her certified public accountant license in 2015 and is employed by the WBC Group LLC in Hudson as an accountant.

The bridegroom is a 2007 Aurora High School graduate and earned a Bachelor of Arts in biology from Kenyon College in Gambier in 2011 and a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 2016. He is a dentist and part-owner of Huffman-Calcei Family Dental in Kent.

The couple met on a blind date.
