ST. MARYS — Lots for Soldiers is now accepting applications from current or former members of the U.S. Armed Forces for a residential lot on Lynn Street in St. Marys, Ohio. Lots for Soldiers will donate the lot and members of the community will help build a new, affordable home to say “thanks for your service.”

There will be a mortgage requirement; however the donations and volunteerism of community individuals, organizations and companies will help to hold down the cost of the home. The home is not a gift and it is no based on need. It is a way of expressing gratitude for a soldier’s sacrifices. The only criteria is the applicant be either currently serving or has been honorably discharged.
