DAYTON — It’s the largest mud volleyball in the country, and it’s coming up, July 21.

Mud Volleyball for Epilepsy features volleyball, beer, raffles, food, music and more. It benefits the Epilepsy Foundations Greater Dayton Region.

“It’s a ton of fun,” said Joey Erickson, chairperson of the event. “We have nearly 5,000 people there playing in the soupy mud.” And the price increases July 1. A team is $375 through June 30. On July 1, the price increases to $400 per team. A team is generally 8 people.

This will be the 28th year for the event. It is at Wegerzyn Gardens Metropark in Dayton.
