HOUSTON — The Houston Community Association tonight met Wednesday night. They would like to share the following information:

Pizza Friday night will be held Dec. 4 beginning at 4:30 p.m. You can call ahead and have your pizza ready to eat at the association building or have it ready for carry out. All the money made at this fundraiser supports the Houston High School scholarship fund.

The next Community Blood drive will be held Tuesday, Dec. 8 from 12:30 to 6:30 p.m. Please call Community Blood in Dayton to schedule an appointment at 1(800) 388-GIVE.

The Houston Community Association web site, www.houstonca.org, has upcoming events listed and new ones will be added to the web site frequently. They will also have a place for people in the community to sign up to work at the different fundraising events, like the next Shelby County Fair.
