NEW BREMEN — The Bremenfest Committee is seeking contestants for a talent show.

The contest will be Aug. 18 at 2:30 p.m. with the finals Aug. 19, following the parade.

Entries must be postmarked by Aug. 1.

Grand prize for the event is $500. First runner-up will receive $250, and second runner-up will be awarded $100. Talent must be acceptable for family-style environment.

Talent show organizer Jean McCollum said, “We decided we wanted to do something different this year, and a talent show sounded like a good idea. This is a great opportunity for residents of New Bremen and other communities to shine. We are pleased Steve Baker from NewsCenter 7 will be a guest celebrity judge.”
