VERSAILLES — Versailles High School homecoming activities will begin with a parade, Friday, Oct. 12, stepping off at the school and ending at the football field.
Homecoming royalty will be crowned at about 7 p.m., just before the football game with New Bremen.
Queen candidates are Courtney Batten, daughter of Chris and Suzanne Batten; Morgan Frederick, daughter of Valerie and Neil Frederick; Madison Ahrens, daughter of Joyce and Bob Ahrens; Jadyn Barga, daughter of Lisa and Mark Barga; and Tori Ahrens, daughter of Amy and Rodney Ahrens.
King candidates are Evan Hiestand, son of Lisa and Jeremy Hiestand; Marcus Berger, son of Linda and Steve Berger; Ben Albers, son of Nancy and Karl Albers; Brooks Blakeley, son of Lynn and Tim Blakeley; and Zach Griesdorn, son of Lori and Brian Griesdorn.
The homecoming dance will be from 8:30 to 11:30 p.m. in the school cafetorium. The theme is “Meet Me at the Luau.” Doors will open at 8 p.m. and close at 9:30 p.m.
Student homecoming representatives are freshmen Jenna Marshal, daughter of Beth and Jeff Marshal, and Ben Ruhenkamp, son of Angie and Steve Ruhenkamp; sophomores Maria Mangen, daughter of Sandy and Randy Mangen, and Ryan Subler, son of Tina and Luke Subler; juniors Olivia Waymire, daughter of Michele and Don Waymire, and Jack Barga, son of Renee and Wade Barga; and seniors Colleen Gehret, daughter of Krista and Carl Gehret, Melissa Gigandet, daughter of Laura and Joe Gigandet, and Cole Luthman, son of Danielle and Randy Luthman.
