SIDNEY — The Sidney Noon Kiwanis Club has named Lindsey Okuley as October 2018 Teen of the Month.

Okuley is a senior at Botkins High School and is a 4.0 GPA student ranking first in her class.

She is the daughter of David and Karen Okuley, of Wapakoneta.

Her academic activities, honors and awards include Academia, National Honor Society, Student Council, and she is a scholar athlete.

Her extra-curricular, community activities, honors and awards include FFA, 4-H, Junior Fair Board of Auglaize County, soccer and swim teams, eucharistic minister at church, band, musical and FCCLA. Okuley is an FFA State Degree recipient, National General Livestock Qualifier; and for FCCLA, a national qualifier for Parliamentary Procedure. She is a recipient of a varsity letter and music letter.

She plans to attend the Ohio State University to study agricultural communication.
