HOUSTON — Houston High School will host its homecoming dance on Saturday, Jan. 26. The theme for the evening is “homecoming knight.”
The 2019 homecoming band show and crowning festivities will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 25. The homecoming basketball games will follow at 7 p.m., with the Wildcats hosting the Anna Rockets.
Crown bearers for the event will be, second-graders, Alexander Ginn, son of Michael and Emily Ginn, of Houston, and Jenna Leist, daughter of Mac and Tonya Leist, of Houston.
Freshman attendants will be Wyatt Fox, son of James and Sarah Fox, of Minster, and Keirstin Ludwig, daughter of Shirley Ludwig and Tim Ludwig, both of Sidney.
Sophomore attendants will be Gus Gothberg, son of Kim and Kevin Gothberg, of Piqua, and Andrea Mantor, daughter of Brian and Michelle Mantor, of Sidney.
Junior attendants will be Drew Young, son of Kelly Iverson and David Young, both of Piqua, and Jen Oliver, daughter of Joy and the late Jeffrey Oliver, of Sidney.
Candidates for queen are Olivia Bowser, daughter of Jason and Amy Bowser, of Houston; Alyssa Kemp, daughter of Tiffany and the late Adam Kemp, of Houston; and Hollie Voisard, daughter of Luke and Kim Voisard, of Sidney.
Candidates for king are Tristin Freistuhler, son of Bill and Gina Freistuhler, of Sidney; Blaine Mantor, son of Brian and Michelle Mantor, of Sidney; and Wyatt Mohler, son of Curt and Paula Mohler, of Piqua.
