OXFORD — Miami University has released its dean’s and president’s lists for the first semester of the school year. These lists recognize academic excellence.

Students who are ranked in the top 20 percent of undergraduate students within each division are named to the dean’s list, and students who are ranked in the top three percent of undergraduate students within each division have been named to the president’s list.

Local students named to the dean’s list include Mackenzie Scully, of Anna, Taylor Daniel, of Russia, Ally Schmidt, of Sidney, William Hoersten, of Sidney, Eli Graham, of Sidney, Kevin Berning, of Versailles, Regan Wuebker, of Minster, Morgan Pohl, of Minster, and Rachel Hawkins, of New Knoxville.

Local students named to the president’s list include Zachary White, of Maplewood, Caroline Heitmeyer, of Sidney, Erin Cavanaugh, of Minster, and Andrew Fausey, of Minster.
