Equestrian Therapy Program offers summer camp

CRIDERSVILLE — The Equestrian Therapy Program is offering a three half-day camp at the Equestrian Therapy Program. This camp will focus on skills and knowledge of a responsible horseman. Campers will learn about care, feeding, grooming and basic riding skills while at camp. In addition to these skills, participants will also learn teamwork, problem-solving skills and how to treat animals and others with respect.

Eligible participants are ages 8-12, and must be able to clearly express needs and follow directions, as well as must be able to ambulate independently or with modification.

Registration is available online at www.etpfarm.org or by calling 419-657-2700. A non-refundable $100 deposit is required at time of registration. Maximum number of registrations is 20. The total camp fee is $250. Payment is accepted through PayPal or credit card. Registration closes June 12.

The Equestrian Therapy Program reserves the right to ask for additional medical information, or for a medical professional evaluation, prior to camp in order for us to determine if alternative activities will be required.
