MINSTER — Minster Chiropractic Center, 12 Eagle Drive, Minster, will host an open house, Sunday, Aug. 27, from 12:30 to 3 p.m., to celebrate the completion of a recent clinic expansion and renovation.

Marking the 32nd year of business in Minster, Dr. Kurt Olding, his daughter Dr. Sunni (Olding) Lomnicki, and her husband, Dr. Tyler Lomnicki, have expanded their working space and with it, their services. During the open house, they will give tours and demonstrate chiropractic and acupuncture treatments. There will be refreshments and door prizes.

Sunni completed her fellowship in acupuncture earlier this year and began treating patients with a combination of chiropractic and acupuncture in her new clinic space this May. While her practice is rooted in chiropractic and Western medicine, she enjoys utilizing aspects of traditional Chinese medicine to use a combination of skills to best serve her patients.

Included in the expansion is a functional training area which the doctors utilize for one-on-one instruction in functional movements and proper bending, lifting and weight training mechanics.

They also have a large open space where they plan to host a community lecture series this fall with topics such as the epidemic of back pain, care for post-surgical continued pain, sports nutrition and acupuncture. A full-time Cox Technic instructor, Olding also utilizes this lecture space to host in-house seminars to train other chiropractic physicians in the evidence-based, advanced technique.

In the previous office space, they have added consultation room to review imaging, such as X-rays and MRIs, with patients to help them better understand their conditions and treatment options
