Three sentenced to prison

SIDNEY — Three Sidney residents were sentenced on Tuesday, Oct. 17, in the Shelby County Court of Common Pleas.

Rocky Stone, 36, 106 N. Wilkinson, was sentenced on two seperate cases. For the first case, he was charged with burglary, after he entered 230 Jefferson St., Apt. 70 with the intent of taking items belonging to the resident. For that charge, he was sentenced to 30 months in prison and ordered to pay $14 in restitution. He was granted 98 days of pre-sentence confinement credit.

He was found guilty of grand theft auto in the second case, after he stole a 2001 Chrysler Concorde from a residence at 921 East Ave. For that charge, he was sentenced to nine months in prison consecutive to the previous sentence and three years probation.

Michael Wooten, 55, at large, was sentenced to nine months for each count and three years of probation for charges of possession of heroin and possession of criminal tools.

Brandy Lesley, 26, 5886 State Route 29, was sentenced to five years probation and ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $862 for the charge of attempted illegal use of supplemental nutrition.
