FORT LORAMIE — The Fort Loramie American Legion Auxiliary, Post 355, voted during its Oct. 9 meeting to present a gift to a member, Shirley Maurer, who will be honored as Second District President, Nov. 4.

The homecoming event will be in the Howard Johnson restaurant in Lima.

In other business, auxiliary members were reminded that the poppy program will be Nov. 10 and Nov. 11. Lynn Crow displayed donation containers she has made. Norma Siegel will manage the program.

It was noted that the auxiliary has 77 members including five lifetime members.

Winners of the October raffle were Barb Siegel, who won $100; Carolyn Drees, $75; Sherri Eilerman and Deb Ranly, $50 each; and Shelly Holthaus and Ruth Schulze, $25 each.
