Hypnotist to entertain at trustee dinner

FORT LORAMIE — The Shelby County Trustees and Fiscal Officers’ annual turkey supper will be Nov. 17 at 6:30 p.m. in St. Michael’s Hall in Fort Loramie.

The event, open to the public, will feature entertainment by comedy hypnotist, Mike Bishop, in “The Wild Mind Comedy Hypnosis Show.” It incorporates some of the funniest hypnosis routines with preshow laughs and funny sight bits. The show is fast-paced and intriguing. It brings out the silliest side of the audience participants and never embarasses. The audience become the stars of the show.

Bishop has been performing comedy shows for more than 30 years. He performs throughout the U.S. His professional training includes lessons in acting, comedy theory, writing, magic, mime and improvisational comedy workshops.

Door prizes will be awarded throughout the evening. In 2016, more than $2,500 in prizes were awarded.

The dinner will be prepared by the Fort Loramie Livestock 4-H club and is a menu of turkey, ham, dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn cole slaw, dinner rolls, pie and coffee.

Tickets, which cost $10 each, must be purchased by Nov. 10. They are available by calling 937-726-7866.
