NK king, queen to be crowned Friday

NEW KNOXVILLE — New Knoxville Local Schools will hold its homecoming dance on Saturday, Dec. 23, from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.

According to Principal Jenny Fledderjohann, the homecoming court attendants are as follows:

• Freshmen: Morgan Leffel, daughter of Keith and Sue Leffel, and Sam Anspach, son of Kelley and Patricia Anspach.

• Sophomores: Carly Fledderjohann, daughter of Kort and Jenny Fledderjohann, and Thomas Poppe, son of David and Sheila Poppe.

• Juniors: Hannah Neuman, daughter of Matt and Michelle Neuman, and Kyle Lascano, son of Timothy and Rosalie Cleland.

• Senior queen candidates: Addy Farley, daugther of Rod and Sheila Farley, Joanna Frankenberg, daughter of Steve and Kathy Frankenberg, and Lauren Hoelscher, daughter of Matt and Mary Hoelscher.

• Senior king candidates: Jonah Lageman, son of Mark and Sarah Lageman , Nathan Merges, son of Jerry Merges and Sheila Merges, and Nathan Tinnerman, son of Mike and Stacy Topp.

The school’s homecoming junior varsity basketball game will begin at 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 22. The crowning of the king and queen will take place after the game, at around 7:15 p.m.
