OSGOOD — The next recycling drive will be Saturday, Nov. 7, starting at 9 through 11 a.m. Items taken are papers, magazines, catalogues, and cardboard. These items placed in paper bags, tied up or in cardboard boxes. In case of cancellation they will be aired in WCSM or their website or you can call Jude at 419-582-2554

• On Saturday, Nov. 7, the Osgood American Legion will sponsor a dance with Rumba lessons from 7 to 8 p.m. These are free. Then from 8 to 11 p.m., DJ Bill Wernhoff will provide the music. The cost is $10 per person. Proceeds from the evening go to Big Brothers and Big Sisters.

• On Sunday, Post 588 Legion and Ladies Auxiliary will have a Veteran’s Day Free Bean Soup Meal. Also you can purchase sandwiches, soft drinks and homemade pie. There are also raffle tickets for sale. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and all are welcome.

• The clothing Drive for St. Vincent de Paul will be at St. Louis parking lot on Nov. 6-8.
