LIMA — The Ohio State University at Lima will host two open houses to help future Buckeyes learn more about the university and its programs, Monday, Feb. 19.

Buckeyes at the Beach Open House

Ohio State Lima will help future students beat the cold with a beach-themed Buckeyes at the Beach Open House at 9 a.m., in the Student Services Center. Representatives from admissions, financial aid and other student services offices will be on hand to answer questions. A campus tour and a student panel are planned.

To register to attend this event, visit Lima.OSU.edu/RSVP and enter code BEACH18.

K-12 Mild/Moderate Special Education Licensure Program Open House

Ohio State Lima will have a Special Education Licensure Open House for K-12 mild/moderate special education license-seekers from 2 to 3 p.m., in the Student Services Center. The special education program in the College of Education and Human Ecology has prepared teachers and leaders in the field for more than 50 years.

Interested students can apply and enroll during one visit and learn more about the program and financial aid options. Students with a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, who hold an initial teaching certification or license, are eligible to apply for the program. In addition to the Feb. 19 event, this open house will also be offered from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., March 14, and from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., April 19.
