Recovery center accredited

GREENVILLE — CARF International has announced that Recovery and Wellness Centers of Midwest Ohio (RWC) has been accredited for a period of three years for the following integrated programs for adults, children and adolescents: case management/services coordination, crisis and information call centers, crisis intervention, outpatient treatment and for its integrated prevention program for children and adolescents.

This accreditation decision represents the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded to an organization and shows RWC’s conformance to the CARF standards.

CARF is an independent nonprofit accrediting body whose mission is to promote the quality, value, and optimal outcomes of services through a consultative accreditation process that centers on enhancing the lives of the person served.

Recovery and Wellness Centers of Midwest Ohio is a nonprofit organization with offices in Eaton, Greenville and Troy. It has provided alcohol and other drug services since 1982. Mental health services were added in 2013 with the acquisition of the Mental Health Clinic Serving Darke and Miami Counties. More information can be found at www.RecoveryandWellnessOhio.org.
