ST. MARYS — Grand Lake Health System in conjunction with the Auglaize County Sheriff’s Department hosted the National Drug Take Back Day at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, April 29.

The sheriff’s office collected 47 pounds of unneeded prescription drugs during the event.

There are several drug take back events scheduled throughout 2017 at various locations. Also, the Auglaize County Sheriff’s Department, 1051 Dearbaugh Ave., Wapakoneta, takes old, unused or unwanted prescription medications at any time. There is a drop box located in the lobby.
