DAYTON — The Community Blood Center is challenging donors to “Find Your American Spirit” by giving blood at the Anna Rescue Squad blood drive, July 12, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., in the Anna Elementary School gym, 607 North Pike St.

Everyone who registers to donate will receive the Blood Donor-Find Your American Spirit T-shirt. Donors are encouraged to schedule an appointment online at www.DonorTime.com or by calling 1-800-388-GIVE.

CBC has launched a new version of www.DonorTime.com. Anyone visiting the site is asked to click the link to register a new username and password.

The bright red Find Your American Spirit T-shirt features a 51-star flag-within-a star emblem. It’s the featured patriotic theme for the month of July and is the second T-shirt design in the Scouting for Donors summer blood drive campaign.

Everyone who registers to donate with CBC will be automatically entered in the “Scouting for Donors” drawing to win an Indian Scout Sixty motorcycle. Donors must be 18 by the Sept. 2 conclusion of the campaign to win.

CBC will select the winner from a group of 10 randomly-drawn finalists in mid-September. Official rules are available at www.givingblood.org.
