SIDNEY — The Sidney Masonic Temple Association is teaming up with Community Blood Center to host a blood drive Saturday, Nov. 7, from 9 a.m. to noon in the temple dining room, 303 E. Poplar St. Everyone who registers to donate will receive the “Buckeye Blood Donor” football T-shirt. Donors are encouraged to schedule an appointment online at www.DonorTime.com or call 800-388-GIVE.

The “Buckeye Donor” campaign celebrates late fall as the time of year when football championships are made. Everyone who registers to donate Monday, Nov. 2, through Saturday, Dec. 19, at any CBC Donor Center and most CBC mobile blood drives will receive the “Buckeye Donor” T-shirt. The design features a silver football helmet on a red background with the CBC blood drop and the map of Ohio as the helmet emblem.

Your donation will help patients in need of blood transfusions and other blood products. We especially encourage the continued support of type O whole blood donors and type A/B platelet and plasma donors.
