SIDNEY — The Alzheimer’s Association Sidney Walk Committee will be at Walmart in Sidney, Tuesday, Aug. 30, from 4 to 6 p.m. to distribute information and yard signs and to register teams to participate in the fundraising walk.

The local Walk to End Alzheimer’s is scheduled for Sept. 24 at 10 a.m. on the courtsquare. Teams and individuals can register there, too.Every 66 seconds, someone across the nation will develop Alzheimer’s disease.

The Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the Alzheimer’s Association’s largest fundraiser and awareness event.
