SIDNEY — Twenty-five area residents attended a free seminar, “Retirement 101: Getting Ready Today for Life Tomorrow,” at Lehman Catholic High School recently.

It addressed and provided packaged information to individuals to assist them with planning for their retirement years.

John Boeckman, a certified public accountant with Monnier & Co., and Cindy Helman, a financial advisor with Money Concepts, were the keynote speakers. They shared information about financial planning and tax preparation.

The Estate Planning Seminar was sponsored by the Community Foundation of Shelby County, Dorothy Love Retirement Community, the Lehman High School Foundation, the Sidney-Shelby County YMCA Foundation and the Wilson Health Foundation.
