GREENVILLE — The Friends of Darke County Parks will host the first event of its new series, “Every Woman Has a Story,” May 20, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the Darke County Parks’ log house.

Mitzi Johnson will discuss her glassware collection during a ladies’ brunch celebrating women and their stories. Attendees are encouraged to dress in vintage style and to wear hats. There will be door prizes and prizes for the best purchased and best handmade hats.

The menu will include breakfast casserole, waffles with fruit and real cream topping, chocolate dipped strawberries, coffee and tea. The cost is $20 per person.
