Coin Club plans annual show

SIDNEY — The Shelby County Coin Club will host it’s annual coin show, May 21, in the VFW post hall on Wapakoneta Avenue in Sidney from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Thirteen coin dealers will display their items for purchase. Admission to the show is free.

Raffle tickets will be available at the show at $1 each or six tickets for $5. Ten prizes will be raffled at 3 p.m. The first prize is a 1/10-ounce gold eagle coin; the second prize is a 1-ounce proof silver eagle coin; the third prize is a proof set; the fourth prize is a mint set; and fifth through 10th prizes are 1-ounce uncirculated silver eagle coins.

The coin show raises funds for two annual scholarships and other community projects the club does. The scholarship winner receives a $500 scholarship and a silver eagle coin and the second place winner receives a $200 scholarship and a silver eagle coin.

Shelby County Coin Club the meetings are the second Thursday night January through June and September through November at 7:15 p.m. in the Connection Point Church Of God, 1510 Campbell Road.
