SIDNEY — Area residents can learn about local titans of industry during a stroll among their final resting places.

The Shelby County Historical Society will host a free tour of Graceland Cemetery, at 8 p.m., June 15.

Society volunteers Rich Wallace and Linda DeVelvis will lead the tour and tell stories about some of the titans who built the industrial foundation of Shelby County. They will also discuss designs used on the tombstones. Costumed volunteers will portray some of the historic figures.

People should park in the I.U.E. parking lot and walk to the southern entrance of the cemetery. Limited parking is also available on the southern road in the cemetery.
