SIDNEY — The Kiwanis Club of Sidney President Scott Smith named Lt. Gov. John Coffield the Kiwanian of the Year during a recent meeting.

Coffield then installed officers for the 2017-2018 administrative year. DiAnne Karas, Dave Sassenger and Phil Warnecke are continuing members of the board of directors and Linda Meininger, John Dorsey, Camille Tucker and Jim Stevenson were installed as new board members. Outgoing board members Ralph Bornhorst, Rikki Unterbrink, Rick Lunsford and Gary Carter were thanked for their service.

Jenny Bruns was installed as president for 2017-18. Long-time Treasurer Ray Weber and Secretary Mike Tangeman were reinstalled to their respective positions. Unterbrink was installed as vice president, and Jessica Guillozet is the new president-elect. Smith will serve as immediate past president.
