SPRINGBORO — The popular Parker Brothers board game, Clue, comes to life onstage at La Comedia Dinner Theatre, 765 W. Central Ave., Springboro.

“Clue, the Musical” will run through Oct 28. Tickets cost $61 to $75 for adults, $30 for children, and include dinner. They are available at www.lacomedia.com or by phone at 800-677-9505.

“Clue, the Musical” is based on the mystery game that has players searching for clues in various rooms of a house to help solve a murder. The audience helps to solve the case in the musical, which has 216 possible endings.

The plot involves Mr. Boddy, who has been murdered. It’s up to the audience to find the killer by deducing the solution from clues given throughout the performance. Comic antics, witty lyrics and a beguiling score carry the investigation from room to room. Is the culprit Col. Mustard? Maybe Professor Plum?

The musical features a book by Peter DePietro, music by Galen Blum, Wayne Barker and Vinnie Martussi and lyrics by Tom Chiodo. It was directed and choreographed by Chris Beiser. A.T. Jones designed the costumes; Ivory Mazur designed the set; Timothy A. Guth designed the lighting. Lloyd Butler is the music director.

The cast includes Janet Brucken as the detective, Linda Dew as Mrs. Peacock, Chris Kramer as Professor Plum, Chrisopher “Topher” Putnam as Mr. Green, Claire Sherer as Mrs. White, Dean Arthur Shipley as Col. Mustard, Karie-Lee Sutherland as Miss Scarlet, and David Thomas as Mr. Boddy.
