SIDNEY — Sidney Rotarian Cameron Eisenhardt spoke about his employment at Sidney Body CARSTAR and the business that is owned by Tom Martin.

Eisenhardt presented the program to attendees of the Sidney Rotary Club meeting, Nov. 5.

He said he had studied at Upper Valley Career Center in auto collision repair and then completed more training in Houston, Texas, before accepting a position with Martin. Martin started working with Sidney Body Shop when he was 15 and bought the business several years later, aligning with CARSTAR and building the current facility on Stolle Avenue in 2004. Additional space was added several years ago with business tripling since 2004. Martin opened a location in Troy five years ago and his third location in Piqua will open soon. In 2009, Sidney Body CARSTAR was named the Franchisee of the Year, selected from among more than 520 nationwide operations.

Eisenhardt talked about the advantages of being part of the CARSTAR family, including a nationwide warranty and the capability to work with all insurance companies.

“The company slogan, ‘Relax, we’ll take it from here,’ is so true in that once you make the call to Sidney Body CARSTAR, they handle the entire process,” he said. Sidney Body CARSTAR has 24/7 accident assistance.

Eisenhardt concluded his presentation noting that since Sidney Body CARSTAR is locally owned and operated, it participates in many community fundraising efforts. Employees participate and volunteer their time to the benefit of the Sidney-Shelby County community.
