Upper Valley Career Center Veterinary Science seniors left to right, Taylor Schneider, of Troy, Kaycee Fortkamp, of Sidney, Joelle Cecil, of Sidney, Aubrey Tamplin, of Troy, Katelynn Pence, of Piqua, and Jasamin Young, of Piqua, care for a sick calf at the Upper Valley Carer Center, Tuesday, Jan. 8. The calf, under the care of Dr. Deb Stanfield, fell ill last week and was brought to the facility, where students can assist in attempting to save the 2-week-old animal’s life.
