SIDNEY — Sidney Elks Lodge No. 786 Secretary Christi Thomas has announced receipt of an Anniversary Grant from the Elks National Foundation, which was donated to Altrusa International of Sidney for its 12th annual Adult Spelling Bee.

Registration fees and donations to the bee will be used to promote education with scholarships awarded at the end of the school year to Shelby County residents.
